Terms and Conditions

 

1. Reservation
1.1 By signing these terms (contract) the tenant explains to agree the content. The contents of the terms (contract) cannot be discussed.
1.2 A reservation request is binding.
1.3 The owners will confirm the availability by e-mail. After which a contract in duplicate will be sent to the tenant. A signed copy must be returned within two weeks.
1.4
The advance payment (25% of the rental of the holiday accommodation) must be paid within 2 weeks after reservation.
The balance has to be paid no later than 4 weeks before the beginning of the rental period.
1.5 If the booking is made less than 4 weeks before the start of the rental period, full payment must be paid at the time of booking.

2. Annulment
2.1 The reservation will be considered as cancelled, if:
- the payment schedule is not respected.
- the tenant has not involved the rented villa within 24 hours on the agreed arrival date, without informing the owners.
2.2 The owner will be authorized to consider the contract as dissolved, if:
- the tenant does not comply with one or more obligations of the contract.
- the tenant does not respect the house rules.
- more persons than agreed are spending the night in the rented holiday accommodation.
- the tenant cedes the rented villa to third persons in hiring or use.
2.3 If the tenant wants to cancel the reservation, it must be confirmed by writing.
2.4 In all situations, no compensation or refund will be possible. No exception can be made.

3. Arrival and Departure
3.1 July and August (middle and high season): exclusively per week and from Saturday to Saturday (Villa and Cottage) and from Sunday to Sunday (Mobile home).
All other months:
Different arrival and departure days are possible. Different duration of your stay can be possible (minimum 3 nights).
3.2 Arrival: Villa: from 4 pm. Cottage: from 3 pm.
Mobile home: from 4 pm.
Departure: Villa: at latest at 10 am. Cottage: at latest at 9 am. Mobile home: at the latest at 10 am.
3.3 In cases of late arrival, you must inform the owners. In case of arrival after the agreed date, no refund will be granted, and the expected departure date will remain unchanged.
3.4 In case of early departure of the tenant, no compensation or refund will be possible.

4. Security deposit
4.1 A Guarantee sum (Villa: 300 €, Cottage: 200 €, Mobile home: 150 €) will be asked at your arrival. The guarantee sum will be returned at your departure, after controle of the rented accommodation. We have the right to recover from you any costs made.
4.2 The guarantee sum cannot be considered as part of the rent.

5. Additional charges and fees
5.1
Banking fees: We do not charge booking or administration fees. Possible bank charges will be recovered from the tenant.
5.2
Final cleaning up: Obligatory costs for the final cleaning up are: Villa 60 €, Cottage 45 €, Mobile home 30 €.
5.3
Electricity: Except for very high season (see tariffs), there is a supplement for electricity costs (according to meter, 0,20 € /KWh). The additional charges must be paid at your departure.
5.4
Services: If the tenant has been used extra services, the costs must be paid before departure.
5.5 Tourist taxes: To pay at your stay, according the valid tariffs.

6. Holiday accommodation
6.1 The Villa and Cottage have been furnished and completely equipped.
6.2 The (dinner) service, specifications, kitchen unit, coverlets, pillows and bed linen* are furnished by the property owner. The tenant obliges himself to leave the rented accommodation and the house furniture in good state.
6.3 In case of damaged or lost objects, the tenant obliges himself to compensate immediately.
*Exclusively included in the rent of a Villa, 1 set p.p. per stay.

7. Damage
7.1 The tenant must communicate every inconvenience within 24 hours after arrival, concerning cleanliness, missing inventory and other small problems. After this period every case of damage or inconvenience will be considered as caused by the tenant is, unless the tenant proves the contrary.
7.2 Possible restorations, which are the consequence of carelessness of the tenant or bad maintenance during his stay, will be charged at the tenant.
7.3 Damage to the holiday home and inventory during the stay of the tenant will be charged at the tenant, unless they result from a normal wear and tear.
7.4 The owner cannot be held responsible for damage causes by local inconveniences, such as weather situation or animals and insects, which are present in the region.

8. Swimming pool
8.1 The tenant is responsible for correct using of the present protection at the swimming pools. These supplies are appliances.
Please note that the best safety will always be the attention and supervision of an adult person.

8.2 Tenants of the Cottage can use the shared swimming pool during certain hours. Minors have exclusively access to the swimming pool and the area around, under accompaniment and supervision of an adult person.
8.3 Pets, which are allowed in Cottage Lou Nouzier, are not permitted at the shared swimming pool and the area around.
8.4 The use of the swimming pool is at your own risk. The owners are not responsible for accidents or damage.

8.5 DO NOT DIVE.
8.6 The owners reserve the right to deny the use of the pools to anyone at anytime.
8.7 The swimming pools are regularly checked and, if necessary, cleaned.
8.8 The use of sharp objects at the swimming pool (such as glass, glasses, pins, stones, etc.) is not permitted.

9. Final cleaning up
9.1 The tenant is supposed to keep the holiday home in good and clean state during his stay.
9.2 The owner will look after the final cleaning up. The obligatory costs for the final cleaning up are calculated once per stay.
9.3 At least the next must be done before departure by the tenant:
- clear out the dishwasher and rearrange the clean dishes
- defrost the fridge
- take the garbage and glass to the public bins
- place the linen, towels and carpets on a pile in front of the washing machine
- replace the inventory on its initial place
- sweep the floor

10. House rules
10.1 The use of the play area is on your own risk. Children must play exclusively under supervision of an adult person. The owners cannot be held responsible for accidents or damage. Damage to materials must be communicated directly to the owners.
10.2 The accommodations are set in quiet and afforested surroundings. The tenant must ensure that he does not make himself guilty to neighbour rumour and noise nuisance to the other guests on the park. Between 9 pm and 8 am extra noise reduction must be taken into account.
10.3 The barbecue must be used exclusively at the defined place. No form of open fire will be permitted.
10.4 Please, do not throw stones and other material in the grass. While maintenance the park, these objects can cause damage.
10.5 At night and by day if you are not present, you must close the sunshades.
10.6 Abundant use of water must be avoided. Washing cars at the holiday accommodation will not be permitted. By constant dryness, a temporary decompression of the water pressure can be possible. Usually, the water supply returns after some hours.
10.7 Please, do not smoke inside the accommodation.
10.8 Pets are only permitted in Cottage Lou Nouzier.
10.9 A daytime visit of family and friends is aloud, but must be communicated to the owner. Spending the night with more persons than mentioned in the contract will not be permitted.

11. Insurance
11.1 We advise to conclude a travel and cancellation insurance.
